Pelvic Floor Matters

Liz has been a pelvic health physiotherapist in Wellington for over 25 years, treating people of all ages and genders with a wide range of pelvic health disorders. She completed her postgraduate training in pelvic floor physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, and runs a specialised pelvic health clinic, employing and mentoring four other experienced pelvic health physios.

Liz is on the National Executive of Continence New Zealand and presents regularly at conferences and workshops. She recently co-authored a Pregnancy Guidebook on behalf of Continence NZ, with advice on prevention and treatment of pelvic floor disorders during pregnancy and the postnatal period, as well as longer term.

In this session Liz will cover:

Concussion Care: Community, Evidence and Practice

Andy Gibson is the founder and principal osteopath of Healthwise Osteopaths and Headwise Concussion Care, and established New Zealand's first Complete Concussions Management (CCMI) affiliate clinic. He graduated with Honours from the British School of Osteopathy in 1996 and has since undertaken extensive postgraduate training in New Zealand and internationally.

Andy specialises in concussion and complex, long-standing conditions, and is a regular presenter nationwide, advancing practical, community-focused approaches to concussion care. A passionate advocate for pre-injury baseline testing — particularly in youth sport — he is committed to improving early identification and outcomes through education.

His broader clinical interests include migraines, headaches, and chronic neck dysfunction. Andy works closely with not-for-profits and motivated individuals, delivering evidence-informed, patient-centred care.
