Scars & Adhesions - ONLINE COURSE
Research suggests that around 50% of people have at least one scar, and on average have between four and six scars. Yet scars are frequently overlooked as a significant source of restriction and dysfunction.
Scar tissue can create compression, alter tissue glide, and contribute to pulling forces throughout the fascial system. These restrictions may lead to compensation patterns, postural distortions, reduced mobility, and persistent pain far beyond the site of the original injury.
In this course, you'll gain practical assessment and treatment skills to identify scar-related restrictions and help clients achieve greater freedom of movement, improved function, and enhanced wellbeing.

- How to assess the body globally and locally to understand the far reaching impact scars and adhesions can have on the body
- 10 effective scar tissue techniques — easy to learn, adaptable, and effective
- How to sense tissue restrictions and change tissue quality and mobility with the development of your ‘listening hands’
- The anatomical, physiological and sensory implications of injuries, surgeries and trauma
- How and when to apply techniques safely, confidently, and holistically for client recovery and rehabilitation

The course is structured into six modules, guiding you through a progressive learning journey that includes over 15 hours of lecture presentations, client demonstration videos, hands-on application tasks, and quizzes designed to reinforce and assess your understanding. A comprehensive workbook is included for note-taking and documentation of your experience, available in both digital and printable formats.
Quarterly live online Q & A sessions offer the opportunity to ask questions, clarify concepts, and share the experience with other practitioners. Learning is self-paced, allowing you to progress through the content in a way that suits your schedule.
