Graduates percieved readiness for professional practice

Osteopathy Graduates’ Perceived Readiness for Professional Practice (OGR2P) - A Qualitative Study.

The purpose of this study is to understand how new graudates experiences of transitioning into professional practice, including what supported them, what challenged them, and how osteopathic education and early-career support can be strengthened.

This study is open to registered osteopaths who have graduated from Osteopathy programme within Aotearoa New Zealand or Australia within 0-2 years. 

This study has been approved by the WINTEC Human Ethics Research Committee (Approval reference: WTLR02290126).

What the study involves

Online Interview

If you choose to take part: 

  • You will complete an audio recorded interview (30-45 minutes);
  • The interview will be via Zoom or Microsoft Teams;
  • Questions will relate to your experiences transitioning into professional practice.
